A PROUD MOMENT FOR WELLS

You’ve walked through the entrance courtyard, the Georgian facade, the entrance hall, the drawing room and then…

THE STUDY…

“A personal retreat in which to unwind,” says Staffan Tollgård, of Studio Tollgard. “I have envisioned my dream home study by stepping into my client’s shoes, ensuring that it is both functional and inspiring. It’s designed to be visually compelling but also enhance the way someone lives and interacts with their environment.”

Designed as a place to think and create and, as thinking and creating both involve staring at the ceiling, it is a visual feast for the eyes thanks to Phillip Jeffries’ Quartz wallcovering. The ceiling is a scene-stealer: shimmering with Phillip Jeffries’ Quartz wallcovering, it casts a quiet glow that changes with the light. Above, Lasvit’s delicate ‘constellation’ lights float like celestial notes—subtle, sculptural, and striking. A subtle shimmer is enhanced by Lasvit’s ‘constellation’ lights. The walls are clad in Modern Muse, also by Phillip Jeffries—thin, dyed wood veneers that add organic depth and tactile beauty. They were no easy feat to install, especially under the demanding conditions of exhibition setup. But the Wells team delivered with precision and finesse.
